More new goodies in my shops

Just a quick post to show you a few of the new items in my shop on Artfire. It's a mixed selection of knitted and crochet goodies.

This is Pervival the Owl. He is looking for someone to adopt him and take him on adventures.

In an attempt to get children to like vegetables I've been making amigurumi carrots. They will come with instructions on how to grow your own carrots. Learn, grow and love.

Amara and Udo are mother and son monsters that originate from Nigeria. They have travelled far in the search for a new home.

Shamus is modelling the latest Pirate Pixie Crew hat. When you own a hat from the PPC you become a crew member. Captain Skulduggery Dug is always looking for more members to join!

This is a pretty little crochet clutch bag so that you can take all the essentials with you when you go out. Phone, check, keys, check, lipstick, check... good to go!

And finally, the Pebbles... all seven of them. They are so sweet and all they want is a new home where they can make friends.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Koninginnedag

Tomorrow is the Queen of the Netherlands Birthday, so to celebrate their national holiday of Koninginnedag I've decided to feature some of the talented Dutch artisans I love the work of. All of these people are happy to post their goods internationally so you can all check out their shops and help them celebrate their national holiday with a sale.

Holland is well know for being a country of bicycle riders and Picture Penelope had snapped this beautifully colourful picture of a bike leaned up against some very yummy looking wall art. Healthy transport and healthy food!

I guess the Queen of the Netherlands will live in a very grand home and will, in all probability, have a few mounted hunting trophies on her walls. Squirrellicious has created an animal loving friendly version of the hunting trophy. As a vegetarian this is the only way I would have a head on my wall.

If you are looking for beautiful lampwork beads and jewellery Oggi is the shop for you. I love lampwork beads. They have a depth to them that makes them very special. Being made of glass gives them a luminous quality that looks different in different lights.

Look me in the eye and tell me you don't think this is the cutest tissue holder you have ever seen. Swiedebie has lots of other cuties in her shop too. I picked this monster tissue case purely because I have a love of monsters and this monster if fantastic!

How could I pass this little kitty by without featuring her. She looks so like our cat, Weapon X, that it would have been a sin to ignore her beauty. Cat Tingles created this gorgeous needle felted cat and bead necklace.

So all you artisans in the Netherlands I hope you have a fabulous day filled with sunshine, birthday cake and dancing as if no one is watching.

Orange is rad!

Errr hello!

This is Flynt, Lynne's visitor from Australia.

Today we went up to the Castle at Trapp, and there was LOTS of lovely greens and browns and greys (grass, stones, sky) so as a contrast I thought it'd be nice to have some lovely citrus colours as today's top five.

This is some scrummy handspun from an Aussie website made by Hand-crafted Gift. I simply adore handspun as its what I do back home for fun!! this one looks almost edible.

And a pretty sterling citrine and carnelian ring made by Ali Bali Jewellery. This would make a lovely noise while you were wearing it!

Some delicious hand made soap from the Savannah Soap Kitchen I bet it smells amazing! Orange Zest and cinnamon for feeling zingy!

Next up, who doesn't love a cute clutch? This sprightly offering comes from Daisy Hill Design. Good for keeping your pennies in!

And finally, I love Lilley's polymer clay button and think they would look rad on a sock puppet or a hand knitted neck wrap! Yum!

Anyhoo. hope its sunny and spring where you are!
